Eco Warriors

Our Eco-Warrior Group 2025-26. We have an Eco Committee as an Eco-friendly school and our Eco warriors
will be working this year to promote lots of school, local, national and international environmentally friendly activities.

Eco-Warrior Work 2024-25:

In September the Eco Warriors promoted Cycle to School Week and ran a competition for all those who cycled each day of week. (Sept 2024)

In November the Eco Warriors launched their, "Live Simply" campaign. For the first month, they chose to encourage the community to reduce
the amount of electronic equipment they but and use. For each subsequent month, they chose a different item to promote having less off, making
posters to put up and send out to the community.

They also celebrated and promoted, Walk to school Week, International Earth Day and International Ocean Day as they came up throughout the year.

 Eco-Warrior work 2023-24:

For Christmas 2023, they have written a letter to all parents and made posters to send out, encouraging everyone to use
recyclable wrapping paper and gift bags only, so that we can all help to look after our common home/take care of God's creation.

International Earth Day: April 2024: Our Eco Warriors organised a day with no use of electricity, a dress up day in blue and green, and an
Earth Day poster competition, to celebrate this important day in the calendar and to draw attention to how we can care for our Earth.

International Ocean Day: Our Eco Warriors made posters to promote this day in June 2023 and to
teach others about how to care for our oceans.

Summer 2024: The Eco Warriors made a poster, which was sent home, all about how we can save energy
and spare the environment during lighter nights and warmer days.
